Brandon Flowers — THRASHER (Vinyl LP, Ground Red — Indie Exclusive)
Eleven years is a long time to wait for a solo album — and THRASHER is not what Killers fans might expect. Brandon Flowers has made a country and Americana record, drawing more from Springsteen and classic Nashville than from the synth-rock that made him famous. That's not a criticism — it's a genuinely good country album, with real emotional depth across 11 tracks including "Does It Ever Cross Your Mind?," "Tiger's Blood," "Plans," "Paradise," and "Miss America." But if you're expecting something close to Hot Fuss or Sam's Town, know going in that this is a different side of the man entirely. Pressed on Indie Exclusive Ground Red vinyl on Island Records.
Sara Bareilles — Good Grief (Vinyl 2xLP, Gatefold)
Seven years between solo albums is a long silence for an artist as prolific and beloved as Sara Bareilles — but Good Grief makes clear that the time was spent living, processing, and writing with unusual honesty. Her sixth studio album on Epic Records is a deeply personal 14-track double LP written in the aftermath of profound life changes, featuring the singles "Home," "Just A Kid," and "Still Crying" alongside the stunning "Then Sour Then Sweet" featuring Brandi Carlile. "Hands Off My Body," "Ladies In A Line," and "Salt" round out an album that feels both intimate and expansive. Alex Warren — Wildchild (Vinyl LP, Playground Red)
The highly anticipated follow-up to his breakout debut You'll Be Alright, Kid, Wildchild shows Alex Warren stepping fully into his voice as a singer-songwriter. The 13-track Atlantic Records album moves through emotional terrain with disarming honesty — from the soaring "Emerald Eyes" and "Same Stars" to the raw "Cry Wolf" and "Are You Having Fun, Alex?" to the title track closer.
