September 11th brings a genuinely eclectic Friday. Brian Fallon — frontman of The Gaslight Anthem and one of New Jersey's finest exports — releases his most collaborative solo album yet, featuring Brandon Flowers, Phil Collen of Def Leppard, and Marc Ribot. Snow Patrol's era-defining Eyes Open turns 20 with a stunning expanded 2xLP edition that finally collects all the B-sides and rarities in one place. And Vince Guaraldi's cozy jazz score for a long-lost 1974 Peanuts special gets its vinyl debut on an Indie Exclusive clear pressing — complete with a collectible magnifying glass.
Something for the Springsteen-adjacent rock fan, the 2000s indie nostalgic, and anyone who still has a soft spot for Snoopy. Let's get into it.

Brian Fallon — Not Bad for New Jersey (Vinyl LP, Beachside Blue — Indie Exclusive)
The Gaslight Anthem frontman's fifth solo album, produced by Butch Walker (Taylor Swift, Fall Out Boy, Green Day) and stacked with guest appearances: Brandon Flowers on "Love at the End of the World," Phil Collen of Def Leppard on "Somewhere You Shouldn't Be," Marc Ribot on "Wolf by the River," Lori McKenna on "On Good Terms," and Donovan Woods on "The Big Sleep." Eleven tracks of high-energy power-pop-leaning rock that sounds like a man who's been waiting to make this record for a while. If you've followed Fallon through The Gaslight Anthem, The Horrible Crowes, and his solo run, this is a natural and very satisfying next step. Pressed on Indie Exclusive Beachside Blue vinyl on Nash York Records.
Snow Patrol — Eyes Open (Vinyl 2xLP, 20th Anniversary Edition)
Twenty years ago, Snow Patrol released the best-selling UK album of 2006 — a record that gave the world "Chasing Cars," one of the most played songs of the 21st century on UK radio, and five other hits that defined an era of indie rock. This 20th anniversary 2xLP on A&M/Interscope is the most complete version of Eyes Open ever released, adding all seven B-sides from the era (including fan favorite "Warmer Climate"), the standalone hit "Signal Fire" from the Spider-Man 3 soundtrack, and the beloved rarity "Perfect Little Secret" to the original 11-track album. Complete with new sleeve notes by frontman Gary Lightbody. Nineteen tracks across two LPs — the definitive way to own a genuinely great album.
Vince Guaraldi — It's a Mystery, Charlie Brown (Vinyl LP, Magnifying Glass Clear — Indie Exclusive)
The first-ever vinyl release of Vince Guaraldi's jazz score for the 1974 Peanuts special It's a Mystery, Charlie Brown — in which Snoopy dons his detective hat to solve the case of Woodstock's missing nest. The same warm piano-trio sound that made A Charlie Brown Christmas a perennial classic, applied to 21 tracks including the full 15-cue score plus four bonus tracks and two jazz standards ("Autumn Leaves," "Billie's Bounce") recorded around the same time. Celebrating 75 years of Vince Guaraldi's musical career. This Indie Exclusive pressing on Magnifying Glass Clear vinyl comes with a collectible credit-card-sized magnifying glass you can use to find hidden clues in the album packaging. Genuinely delightful.
Pro Tip
The Vince Guaraldi IEX is the one to grab now — once the standard editions drop next week, the Indie Exclusive clear pressing is likely to move quickly. If you're a Brian Fallon fan who's been sleeping on The Gaslight Anthem catalog, we carry the full run — The '59 Sound, American Slang, History Books, and more. And if you already own the original Eyes Open, the Snow Patrol anniversary edition is worth it for "Warmer Climate" and "Signal Fire" alone.
