Their fifth studio album and most intimate record yet, Lordy was produced by Brad Cook alongside a small circle including Iron & Wine's Sam Beam, MJ Lenderman, and Phil Cook. Written by frontman Matt Myers in the aftermath of a relationship ending and a new one beginning, it delivers an emotional punch that lingers long after the needle lifts. Pressed on Indie Exclusive Carbondale-colored vinyl — not something you'll find at big box stores.
Allison Russell — In the Hour of Chaos (Vinyl LP, Aubergine — Indie Exclusive)
A joyful, community-driven response to uncertain times. Montreal-born, Nashville-based Allison Russell brings together 10 guests across 11 tracks — including Norah Jones, Joy Oladokun, Brittney Spencer, Kara Jackson, Sara Watkins, Devon Gilfillian, and more — each one a collaboration that adds warmth and light. If you needed an album to believe in people again, this is it. The Indie Exclusive Aubergine pressing is gorgeous.
Party Wave & Forrest Frank — Dawn Patrol (Vinyl LP, Orange)
A 16-track collaborative album from Party Wave and Forrest Frank on TenThousand Projects — faith-driven songwriting with a laid-back, sun-soaked sound rooted in surfing, friendship, and early mornings by the water. Pressed on orange vinyl. This one hits perfectly in summer.
The Head and the Heart — Live at Neumos (Vinyl 2xLP, Clear)
To mark 15 years of their landmark debut album, Seattle's The Head and the Heart are releasing a live recording of a 2011 show at their beloved hometown venue Neumos — captured right at the moment they were breaking out. This double LP "Loser Edition" features the full self-titled album performed live, plus two previously unreleased songs: the original "Long Time Away" and a cover of Jimmie Rodgers' "T Is for Texas (Blue Yodel #1)." Pressed on clear vinyl. This is a special one for longtime fans.
The War and Treaty — The Story of Michael and Tanya (Vinyl LP, White)
The powerhouse husband-and-wife duo of Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter have named their new album after themselves — and it's as personal as it sounds.
