Released in 2026, Joy is a 5-track EP from Chicago saxophonist, composer, and bandleader Isaiah Collier, reframing joy as a devotional grounding and political act in uncertain times. Recorded with producer Sonny Daze, it finds Collier stretching across instruments (piano, tenor sax, flutes, Wurlitzer, drums, and Metatron), joined by an 11-piece ensemble on the title track and guitarist Cole Runge and drummer Jeremiah Collier on “When The Dust Settles.” Released on Brownswood Records.
