Released in 2022, A Very Lonely Solstice is a 13-track live album capturing Robin Pecknold performing solo and acoustic at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church in Brooklyn on the winter solstice of December 2020 — originally broadcast as a livestream just days after New York tightened COVID restrictions. A poignant, intimate document of a moment of global isolation, it features acoustic arrangements of Fleet Foxes fan favorites alongside a cover of Nina Simone's "In The Morning" and a rearrangement of the traditional "Silver Dagger."
