Carolina Confessions, released in 2018, is The Marcus King Band's third full-length album, available here on CD. A sprawling, scintillating work in the tradition of the Rolling Stones' Let It Bleed and the Grateful Dead's American Beauty, it finds authenticity running through every note King plays and every word he sings. At just 22, his eloquent songs, expressive guitar playing, and ecstatically soulful singing mark him as a force to be reckoned with.
