Celebrating the 50th anniversary of their formation on September 25, U2 release Carnaval de Luz, their first new studio album in nine years since Songs of Experience (2017). This Japan-exclusive edition comes as 3 SHM-CD plus Blu-ray, with discs 2 and 3 containing the EPs “Days Of Ash” and “Easter Lily,” originally released digitally in February and April, marking the first physical release of “Easter Lily.” The Blu-ray includes Dolby Atmos and stereo audio mixes, along with four music videos. Produced by Jacknife Lee, this edition also includes liner notes, lyrics, and Japanese translations, presented in SHM-CD format, a feature exclusive to the Japanese edition. The album includes closing track “Torn,” a feature with Dolly Parton recorded before her passing in August 2026.
