Released for Record Store Day Black Friday 2020, We Are: Roots & Traditions is a limited edition 12" EP pressed on rich purple vinyl featuring four songs that were later released on Jon Batiste's Grammy Award-winning album We Are. Batiste combines elements of jazz, gospel, soul, funk, R&B, and rap to honor musical traditions — and to break the mold of what modern artists can be.
