Watchhouse is an American folk duo — formerly known as Mandolin Orange — consisting of Andrew Marlin and Emily Frantz, whose warm, intricate sound weaves together Americana, bluegrass, and intimate storytelling. The pair rebranded in 2021 and have continued to release quietly powerful work, including Watchhouse and Rituals, the latter available here at Collide. Their music rewards close listening, with Marlin's fingerpicked arrangements and Frantz's expressive fiddle and harmonies creating something genuinely transportive.
