Collective Soul are a rock band from Stockbridge, Georgia, known for their melodic, guitar-driven sound and one of the most consistent catalogs in 1990s and 2000s alternative rock. Formed by singer and songwriter Ed Roland, the band broke through with their 1993 debut Hints, Allegations and Things Left Unsaid and the smash single "Shine," going on to score a string of rock radio staples including "December," "The World I Know," "Gel," and "Heavy." With over two decades of albums spanning from their self-titled breakthrough to Here To Eternity, their 2026 album Touch and Go marks a bold new direction inspired by new wave and The Cars.
