Sticking with the producer of his 2012 album Spark Seeker, Matisyahu chose Kool Kojak as producer of "Miracle," his off-album holiday single that makes Chanukah sound like party time. That is, party time with utmost respect for tradition, as "Just livin' in the miracle, candles are my vehicle/Eight nights, gonna shine invincible" kicks off this tune on the kosher tip, and all of it delivered in a dancehall rap style since Matisyahu was once rightfully dubbed "the Hasidic Reggae Superstar." Kojak pumps him into "Hasidic Dance-Pop" territory with a backbeat that's prime for radio, club, and uplifting commercials, and none of that is meant as criticism.
