It was the first of its kind, and to this day the only one of what was planned to be a series of Electronica/Pop worship albums. This album opened new avenues for experimentation in worship with its distinctly urban and atmospheric sounds. With collaborative songwriting and acoustic instrumentation interchanged with discovered (thrift) sounds manipulated electronically, Enter the Worship Circle has purposefully used hip-hop and electronica techniques to create a unique sound comparable to David Crowder Band, Telefon Tel Aviv, Beck, Art of Noise, and Portishead.
